How would you describe what you do?

Wonderful Day Weddings is passionate about assisting you with creating your dream wedding! Marissa Partridge is a Certified Wedding Coordinator and started her career in the non-profit special events industry in 2002. Our goal has always been to design elegant, memorable weddings for our clients by managing the details and creating a stunning experience that engages all of the senses. Wonderful Day Weddings takes the "how to" out of the "I do's" by helping our clients navigate the wedding industry and by referring vendors that best fit your style and budget. After all, a beautiful wedding doesn't just happen, it is the culmination of endless hours of planning and event management. Wonderful Day Weddings strives to give a very personal experience to all of our clients during planning and we love the relationships that develop during the process!

Wonderful Day Weddings was established in 2006.

What is your philosophy of a wedding planner and their role in helping brides and grooms plan their wedding?

Above all, I think the most important thing a wedding planner should be is enthusiastic about their client's vision. In addition to that, planning a wedding is a joyous and stressful occasion. Understanding that and being able to organize, design and implement our client's wishes is what Wonderful Day Weddings is all about. We are there to celebrate with you when things are going great, commiserate with you when they aren't, and help you achieve exactly what you want for your wedding, whether it is a grand or intimate affair. Wonderful Day Weddings knows that the greatest gift a planner can offer is experience, enthusiasm, and integrity!

Do you offer packages? If so, what are they?

We offer three great packages to choose from! Full Service Planning is for the couple that needs help with every aspect of their wedding, from selecting a venue to the wording of their invitations. Partial Planning is for the couple that has selected their ceremony and reception venues, but then realize they need help with event design, organization and choosing their remaining vendors. Finally, we offer "Day of Coordination." Don't let the name fool you! Day of Coordination is much more than just showing up on your wedding day. We give our couples multiple client meetings prior to the event to go over the details, and wrap up any unsettled business. In addition to our meetings, Wonderful Day Weddings manages the rehearsal and wedding day!

What is your most popular package? Why?

Our most popular package is Partial Planning. Many couples know where they want to get married and are able to select a reception venue that perfectly coordinates with that. However, after making those major decisions, they often need help with the rest of the planning process. Wonderful Day Weddings loves to sit down and brainstorm event design ideas, and refer our clients to reliable vendors that will care as much about their vision as we do.

Are you able to counsel me on wedding etiquette?

Absolutely! Marissa Partridge is a Certified Wedding Coordinator through Weddings Beautiful Worldwide and many courses on this subject were required for certification. In addition, Wonderful Day Weddings honors a variety of religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. If we don't know the answer to an etiquette question, we will do the research to find it out!
