How would you describe what you do?

Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting is an information based wedding planning company that does everything we can to save you time and more importantly, money. It is our goal to save our clients at least what we cost- therefor making our services absolutely indispensable for EVERY bride. With our exclusive preferred vendor relationships we can save you thousands on your wedding day. We work with the best wedding professionals in Minnesota to create the most extraordinary night that your guests will remember forever.

How long have you been in the business?

Simply Elegant was established in March of 2010; however our owner Ashley Henry has been involved with weddings for over 5 years. Simply Elegant has professionally executed many flawless weddings in that time.

What is your philosophy of a wedding planner and their role in helping brides and grooms plan their wedding?

We believe that every bride deserves a planner by her side during this emotional planning process. However, many brides think that this service comes at a premium, and we are here to change that belief. One thing we focus on is to save our clients’ money, and if we aren’t doing that, we aren’t doing our job. Beyond being a bride’s advocate we are as involved as they want us to be. We can simply help direct her in the last few months of planning, or be there every step of the way.

Do you offer packages? If so, what are they?

Every client has their own desires, and their own idea of what their wedding will be. We have three basic packages listed below; however we are able to customize everything to tailor to our client’s needs.

Total Relaxation Package: Full service—Full use of our preferred vendors, and also includes: unlimited meetings with a coordinator, unlimited phone/e-mail consultations, exclusive contract negotiation with management of all vendors, and everything included in the “Serenity Package.”

Serenity Package: Day of Coordination— Three weeks before the wedding we will take the necessary steps to ensure that everything will run smoothly. We will check in with all the vendors to coordinate timing and choices that the couple has made. This includes 2 meetings with a coordinator, unlimited phone/e-mail consultations, timeline development, coordination of rehearsal, and coordination on your wedding day.

Peace of Mind package: For the do-it-yourself-bride— 4 hour long meetings with a coordinator, we will review overall goals, and point the bride into the right direction. This package will arm her with insider knowledge on the wedding planning industry.

What is your most popular package? Why?

Our most popular package by far is our “Serenity Package”—because most brides are seeing the true value we are able to provide in helping orchestrate all of the details on their magically day, and we are still able to save these brides money.

How do you charge? What are your rates?

This is what so revolutionary about Simply Elegant, we charge based on the amount of money we are able to save our clients through our preferred vendor usage. (Hourly rates apply for Day of Services ONLY)

Are you able to counsel me on wedding etiquette?

Absolutely! All of our lead consultants at Simply Elegant are IWPP certified, which is an extensive course on wedding etiquette.

Do you offer any other special services?

We also offer Carlson Craft Wedding Invitations that are just gorgeous, clients are able to order them directly through us, or we also are an online supplier.
