What type of equipment do you use?

We shoot HD footage with Canon DSLR cameras. We use other tools such as mono/tripods, sliders, shoulder stabilizers, a glidecam, external sound equipment and lighting to ensure the best production value.

Will you be shooting and editing the video or will someone else be doing this?

MyGuy MEDIA is owned and operated by R.J. Deutsch and his wife Kristin. Weddings are shot and edited by the team. Additional camera men are present as needed.

How much do you charge for duplicate videos for family members and friends?

Packages include 3 copies of the finished DVD, but extras can be added for $25 each.

Do you have package prices? If so, what are they?

Packages range from $1900-$3000. Details are available upon request at our website.

What is the fee to have a second videographer there shooting for the ceremony and for the reception?

Two videographers are included in all but our $1900 package.

What type of approach do you take when filming weddings?

Our style would best be described as unobtrusive, documentary. We like to keep a low profile and capture the day as it unfolds. Our footage is most often taken creatively from a guest's perspective. However, we are open to accommodate any features or styles that the couple requests.

Do you have a sample video you can send me?

We have several samples online of our wedding highlight videos.

What is your philosophy of filming weddings?

We believe that the wedding day is such an important day in any couple's lives. With each video, we try to preserve the excitement, the passion, and the commitment that is so prevalent on that day. We want our clients to be able to return to their wedding day at any time, revisit their vows, and fall in love all over again.

Is there anything else you would like me to know?

Add a creative flare to your wedding reception by showing a "Love Story" engagement video. We will capture the couple interacting on a "date shoot" and intertwine footage with a charming interview of the couple telling the story of their relationship to this point and what they are looking forward to in marriage.
