How many various people do you send out on location? Are they all employed through your company?

One. Our entertainers are trained by the most experienced staff of DJ professionals in the industry. This gives them the ability to independently coordinate all aspects of reception entertainment. They all serve as employees of Midwest Sound.

What type of attire is worn?

Unless otherwise specified by our couples, we seek to blend in with the guests in order to distinguish ourselves from the wedding party. We strive to emit an air of professionalism, but keep ourselves approachable. Most commonly a 2 piece suit with shirt and tie.

What are your costs for the services provided?

Midwest Sound rates can range anywhere from $495 to $995 for reception entertainment. Our award winning ceremony music is available for $195 for on-site facilities and $225 for off-site locations. We also offer up-lighting décor. Up-lighting is unique to the venue space and rates are quoted per reception.

Is there a list of songs to choose from?

We provide our couples with a hard copy of our “Master Song List” as well as the ability to access and search our master list utilizing our online planning tools. You’ll start with the 800 songs we’ve had request the most often in 35 years of wedding entertainment. Our song library includes hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of songs. If a song you’d like to have played isn’t on our list, just add it in.

Is there a way to see what different styles of interaction you offer?

We believe that different levels of interaction are appropriate for different weddings. Our staff has unparalleled experience matching our Entertainers with the style, personality and interaction our couples request.

Do your fees include background music during dinner?

Yes, unless otherwise requested.

Will the performer act as "Master of Ceremonies"?

Always. We believe that even when asked to provide the lowest amount of interaction, the DJ should coordinate scheduled events and facilitate them with the guests.

Weddings are our specialty. We concentrate solely on the reception entertainment our couples deserve. We believe our unmatched experience allows this focus to give clients the best DJ service available.
