Floral Logic
What type/style of flowers do you work with most? While our style edges on clean and contemporary, it is from the individual desires of our brides and grooms, as well as the specific ceremony and reception spaces that we find inspiration to choose the most appropriate blooms for each and every unique occasion. Are you available to pin on corsages and boutonnieres at the site? We always make ourselves as helpful as possible to make sure your wedding day remains stress free. We often find ourselves assisting in non-floral aspects of set up as well, helping to make certain your big day goes off without a hitch. Do you do bouquet preservation as well? No, but Minnesota Bride Magazine is a great resource to find those individual companies that specialize in this service, as well as any other service your wedding day might require. How long have you been working with flowers? Owner Eric Sandstrom began his floral career in 1991 shadowing Lebanese floral designer Cynthia Gillooly at her small floral business, The Golden Cricket Florist, in Asheville, North Carolina. While he absorbed many basic skills common to every well-trained floral designer, it wasn’t until 1998 when Eric joined the team at Wisteria Design Studio (after an extended education in Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota). Better than any floral school design program, for 9 years he learned hand’s on expertise from one of the Twin Cities best known floral designers, Russell Toscano. From small house parties to weddings and galas of 400 or more people, it has been since 2007 that Eric and Floral Logic have made a big imprint on the Twin Cities wedding and event scene. Are you available to deliver items from my ceremony to the reception? We try to make ourselves as accommodating as possible on your wedding day. With advanced planning, we’re always willing to help. What type of rental items do you have? While our in-house supply of rental items accommodates most couple’s specific needs as far as table top décor, we always offer complimentary services (to brides and grooms who have already booked us for their floral needs) to assist in embellishing your ceremony or reception venue with lighting, linens and any other decorative element you can imagine. With so many great rental companies in the Twin Cities, our intimate relationship with the best of them allows you to sit back and let us do the legwork for you. Are there any other extra services that you provide? We always encourage you to book your initial complimentary wedding flower consultaion with us later in the day so you can take advantage of our complimentary relaxation service or, as we call it around the studio, a bottle of wine after the work day. For the grooms out there, Eric often has home brew in the wine cooler as well! Is there anything else you would like me to know? At the inception of Floral Logic, Eric made a conscious effort to never ask couples to meet a minimum financial requirement when it came to their floral needs. We understand your wedding is uniquely you, from the venues you have chosen, to the design of your invitations and ultimately your individual budget. Along with this, Floral logic strives to exceed your every expectation in personal service, creativity and commitment to quality. |
