About

Catering styles available: (American, English, Family Style, French, Russian, Wagon, Full-service, Partial-service):

We are a full service caterer who values quality service. Our clients can expect the same level of service as they would get in a fine dining restaurant. We do really great job with Family Style Service. I think it is unique, interactive and fun way to make the food a focus of the event.

Can your menus be customized to suit the client’s preference?

All of our menus are custom. Very rarely do clients choose their own meal off of our "stock" menus. Our Summer catering menu is over 30 pages long, so there are many options to choose from!

Is taste-testing available?

We do charge for tastings. All of our food is hand crafted and designed specifically for each individual event, so it takes quite a bit of preparation for every tasting.  We prepare the entire meal for our clients, so that they can experience exactly how their final meal will look and taste.

Do you possess a liquor license?

We work in tandem with Modern Beverage, a high end, hand crafted cocktail provider from the fine folks at The Modern Cafe in NE Minneapolis.

Bar options available (cash bar, limited bar, open bar):

All bar options are available from Modern Beverage. We work as a liaison to them, so the client doesn't feel like they have to deal with outside vendors.

Are any complimentary decorative items provided for food tables?

We pride ourselves in our creative and lavish food displays that include live florals, garden vegetables and seasonal garnishes.

Cost per person range:

Our menus start at $20 per person and go up from there.

Do you offer dinner stations?

We love stations!  We do many International and Regional food stations that highlight many different cuisines.  We once did an Andrew Zimmer Style "Bizarre Foods" Menu for a Bat Mitzvah that included Grilled Alligator Fajitas, Moroccan Goat Stew, Thai Green Curry Frog Legs and Chocolate Dipped Bugs!  More traditional stations include: "Taste of Minnesota", "Interactive Satay Stations", "Chef Prepared Tacos" and "Street Food-Style Pad Thai" Stations.

Do you do dessert buffets?

We specialize in little bite sized treats. Some favorites: Bittersweet Chocolate "S'More" Cups with Homemade Graham Cracker Nougat and Marshmallow Brulee and Miniature Lemon-Lavender Cheesecakes.

Is there anything else you would like me to know?

We have been in business since 1999. We bought our building in South Minneapolis on the Greenway and 13th Avenue South in 2009 after we were one of three chosen caterers to cater inside Excel Center for the 2008 RNC.  We had the highest security clearance in the city since we did all the hospitality back stage catering for anyone who spoke on the podium.  We also had a full service tented catering kitchen outside of Excel where we did 4 meals a day for CBS news.

I recently hired Chef Alexander Dixon of the former Zander Cafe in Saint Paul.  Being a chef / Owner, the business had just grown so much that I needed someone to help run the kitchen. We are super excited to have him!  He is one of the best chefs in the Twin Cities.
