What is your style of photography?

We focus on light and shadow, contours and curves…kind of a “body as landscape” approach. Our work is influenced by old Hollywood black & white photography. We prefer to shoot at a variety of locations, rather than in one studio. This provides new inspiration with each shoot, and a personalized setting for the look you want to portray.

What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography has become very popular. Usually, it means suggestive portraiture of women in little or no clothing. It is usually meant as a gift for a husband or fiancé, but ends up being one of the best gifts a woman can give herself. There are many approaches and styles to boudoir photography, from our romantic, timeless style, to pinup, to fashion inspired, and more!

What is your philosophy towards boudoir photography?

I believe that you are beautiful. I want you to believe it too. My goal is to show you why he thinks you’re amazing, outside as well as in. I honestly shoot for my client, not for her man. When my clients feel confident in themselves and their images, when they feel stunning, that in itself is a gift for him…and for her.

What is your price range of services?

Typically $300-$1000

What does this include?

Starting with a basic shoot fee, I have collections that include professional styling and albums. Most collections include some sort of product credit.

Do you have packages? If so, what do they include?

They are all listed on the website.

Do you shoot with an assistant?

No, due to the sensitive nature of this type of shoot, I shoot alone. I also have a client privacy policy. No images will be shown anywhere without client permission, and no names will be used.

Will you be the one shooting the session or do you hire out other photographers as well?

Jen Wheeler is the principal boudoir photographer at the studio.

Do you shoot film and/or digital?

Digital.

After the wedding, how long until the proofs are ready?

Images will be viewed in the studio about a week after the shoot.

What are your custom print prices? Are any prints included with the packages?

Yes, there is a print or product credit in most cases. Custom and fine art prints start at $30. Everything we deliver is fully retouched.

I will also give you tips on how to prepare, what to bring, etc. We are a boutique studio that believes in establishing relationships with our clients, and guiding them through every step of the process. For this reason, we only accept 10 clients per month. Pre-holiday times such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day can book several months in advance, so inquire early!
