Coffee Break: Bring Local Handcrafted Brew to Your Big Day
Skip the generic brew—Coffee Cart MPLS wheels local, handcrafted coffee to your event.
The buzziest trend in wedding reception eats and drinks isn’t farm-to-table dinners or cake-pop towers; it’s artisanal coffee carts. Think locally sourced espresso drinks, pourovers and cold brew to keep your guests caffeinated and on the dance floor all night long.
“It’s a new take on cocktail hour,” says Alta Keller, owner of Coffee Cart MPLS. “If the bride and groom are coffee lovers, it’s a fun, unique way to showcase their personality and things they love on their big day.”
Alta and husband Jesse started Coffee Cart MPLS inspired by their love of coffee culture in Minnesota. They partner with local Minneapolis roasters like Dogwood Coffee Co., Bootstrap Coffee Roasters and Bull Run Coffee to bring that java love to local events. All they need is an outlet to plug into and they’ll wheel up and start brewing perky drinks for guests to sip on between the ceremony and reception, to accompany dinner, for an after-dinner treat or to keep the party going into the night.
Besides featuring local roasters, the couple hand-makes all of their flavoring syrups, chocolate and chai with natural ingredients. And for the caffeine-averse, they also offer non-coffee options like hot cocoa and tea.
“We want each couple to have exactly what they dreamed for their wedding day, so we love working to create a package that is perfect for them and their guests. We can work with couples to craft a custom drink, hand-stamped custom cups or they can choose their preferred roaster from our local roaster partnerships,” Keller says.
Packages, which can be viewed, booked and paid for on their website, start at $300.
