Talk about a topper! Sarah Stone of Retro Vertigo Vintage, located locally in Minneapolis, uses her
inventory of more than 2,000 antique children’s blocks to create
one-of-a-kind wedding cake toppers and table décor. Popular messages include
“Eat, drink and be married,” “Mr. and Mrs.” and simply “Love,” as inspired by the
iconic Robert Indiana sculpture. She loves to work with couples to create
something truly personal; names, initials and messages are carefully assembled
by Sarah to complement the color scheme and feel of the wedding. Blocks are
priced individually from $2 for a newer block to $10 for an elaborately carved
Victorian block.
