What's New with the Independent Wedding Association

Kudos to the Independent Wedding Association, which in the wind-down of wedding season is kicking up their creativity. Tomorrow night they'll be hosting a wedding boot camp and grooms' night at Pinstripes. Fellas, this is not your ordinary wedding fair. (We're talkin' cigar sampling and drink tasting.) Also in the works for IWA is a new online mag Hearten, which features a photo shoot about embracing Minnesota kitsch—like these bite-size pies on sticks by Cocoa & Fig. Delicious and cute and reminiscent of the State Fair? We'll take it.
