A Summertime Engagement Session: Gelato and Canoes

Ever since winter's last bit of ice lost its fight with spring's warm weather, I've been jonesing to weave through Minneapolis's Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles via canoe and paddle. This session isn't helping my craving any.
     Local photographer extraordinaire Erica Loeks captured this cute couple, Elizabeth Seedfeldt and Mark Kimble, for their engagement session all over my favorite 'hood, Lowry Hill. First Erica got some "how did she do that?" shots in the calming waters of the Chain of Lakes, walked the ever-inspiring grounds of the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and then moved on to some well-earned gelato from Sebastian Joe's. Congrats to the couple, who will exchange rings and vows on September 2 at the Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Anthony Village, prompty followed by a celebration at Le Meridien Chambers.
