An Artist's Portrait of his "Minnesota Bride"

Rewind a few months, when we showed you New York-based artist Borbay's Minnesota-influenced logo for his Gopher State wedding. (Gawk at that here.) Since the vows have been exchanged and pictures returned, Borbay's been focused on another project: a painting of his new bride, Erin. The stop-motion video below shows the entire process, or you can read the step-by-step too. We're pretty flattered about its title, My Minnesota Bride, too. All we can say: wow.

Your Bride is Stunning....

Borbay--

You capture your bride in a radiant way. What would a "Borbay" be without text, color, and that unique quality this is you.

Sorry I missed you and Ari when I was in NY to see Lar's company perform a world premier new dance.

When I do get down to The City, I will give you a call and we can hang out in Chelsea, take in a show at the MoMA, or skateboard down the ramp at the Gugg.

I just entered a work into a juried show. Cross your fingers, cross your toes, in the mail....off it goes............

Be well and happy.

My best to E....

Ben
